Bolt Legal, LLC provides legal representation in the areas of municipal and local government law, community associations, real estate and business law. Its founder, Ronald M. Bolt, has over a decade of legal experience. He currently serves as counsel to eight local governments and numerous community associations.
Mr. Bolt is a member of the Maryland Municipal Attorneys’ Association and the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (WMCCAI) and serves as co-chair of its Maryland legislative committee. His volunteer work for WMCCAI allows him to closely monitor legislative initiatives and issues of potential concern for his clients. Mr. Bolt frequently testifies on pending bills and participates in the formulation of public policy impacting his clients. He is a frequent contributor to Quorum, a magazine for community association property managers, service providers, and volunteers. Prior to private practice, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Donald F. Johnson, Circuit Court for Dorchester County, Maryland. During law school, he clerked at the Office of the Maryland Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.
